The question was raised if we could explore joining West and East Santa Ana Hts. via the trail system. Jeff Dickman at the June 2002 PAC meeting, reported on the trail coming from the Golf Course under Irvine Ave. to Santa Ana Ave. and up Mesa Dr. across the 55 Frwy to the Fair grounds. In order to complete this trail that has been on the County plans for years, we needed to talk with the Santa Ana Country Club to ask if they would be willing to give the County an easement along their property. We did have a meeting with the Club in July of 2002....we still have not heard back from them...Hmm...guess they didn't like the idea! No other action on this has been taken at this time. |
