UPDATE 12/8/05 Letter from County to Kline Dr. residents: December 8, 2005 Dear Property Owner, (Proposed Improvements- Kline Drive Plan “D”) The County of Orange, Housing and Community Services Department, and the Orange County Development Agency (OCDA) would like to invite you to a meeting on December 14 at 7:00 pm to discuss the proposed improvements to Kline Drive. There are twelve properties involved. We would like all 12 property owners to attend this meeting to hear a presentation regarding conceptual “Plan D” for Kline Drive. If you cannot attend the meeting, please send a representative. The meeting will be held at: Peter & Mary Interpretive Center 2301 University Drive Newport Beach, CA 92660 (949) 923-2290 Date and Time: Wednesday December 14, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. The topic of the meeting will be to discuss the approval and implementation of Plan D. On October 4, 2005, the plan was presented and discussed at the Santa Ana Heights PAC meeting. The plan consists of widening and paving Kline Drive pursuant to County road standards and incorporates the feedback received from the property owners on Kline Drive. Plan D includes a rolled curb and gutter with no sidewalks or street parking. Preliminary drawings that outline the proposed options showing street widths, street configurations and the amount of property dedication required from each property owner will be available for your review. A representative from the local civil engineering firm that developed the conceptual plans will be on hand to answer your questions regarding the plans. Your feedback regarding the implementation of the “Kline Drive Street Improvements” will be appreciated and will help us to determine the feasibility of moving forward with these proposed improvements.
