SAHPAC Members:
-
Meet the current PAC Members. It's important to keep PAC's purpose in focus... We are an advisory committee to the Board of Supervisors, only submitting recommendations. We have been in existence since 1982. We are not a policing agency and are not a homeowners association. Our primary responsibility originally was to make suggestions on projects to the Board of Supervisors as to how and where to spend the Redevelopment dollars, and monitoring those projects as they moved forward. We also make sure the Specific Plan is implemented.
The PAC's purpose has changed now that the agency is sun setting and projects have been completed. The PAC will have to lobby the City Of Newport Beach to see the remaining projects completed.
