PAC Agenda Dec. 6th, 2005 6:30-8:30PM YMCA 2300 University Dr. Newport Beach.
Draft/ subject to change 1 Chairman's Remarks: BV Welcomes everyone and introduces the Special Guests of the evening.
2: Approval of Oct. minutes
3: Public Comments: We ask that the public keep their comments to 3 minutes or less in as courtesy to others as we have many speakers and agenda items to cover in a timely manner. If you have a comment on anything on the agenda, please wait until that item is being addressed. Public comments can only address PAC related issues or proposed projects. We ask that you do not comment on issues PAC has no jurisdiction over. A suggestion is to prepare your comments in writing to keep you focused and within the time frame.
Staff & Committee Reports: 4) Projects Overview Sub Committee Report – Barbara V (5 minutes) This report will give an overall progress report on projects and issues discussed with the County CEO’s office and the City during the past two months...
5/ Council woman Leslie Daigle- 5 minutes Leslie will give us a report on the Borders Committee meetings as well as a year in review of the City’s progress with PAC projects.
5/ John Moorlach: County Treasurer /10 -20 minutes The Treasurer will talk to us about the County’s current financial situation as well as how that affects the Redevelopment agencies in our County. He is also making a run to become our new County Supervisor.
6/ Code Enforcement of the West Side –Shane Burckle (10 minutes) The City of Newport Beach is now taking over the Code Enforcement of the West Side we will hear an overview of their plan as well as learn more about a new way to water your lawn that involves a high tech weather satellite.
7/ Interpretive Center- Kevin Thomas, HBP Director (10 minutes) Will be discussing the new parking fees and why the County feels they need them.
8/Community Center- Dave Kiff (3 minutes)
9/ Upper Back Bay View Park – Rick (5 minutes)
10/ Fire Station – Rick (5 minutes)
11/ Development Committee- Rick (3 minutes)
12/ Equestrian report (5 minutes)
13/ New Business……an agenda item for PAC members & the public to put new projects and issues out there and add them to the next agenda. BV will also follow up in this section with last month’s requests and answers.
